The cast of Frasier will reunite as a family for an upcoming episode of The Simpsons.

According to Digital Spy, the episode is called Funeral For A Fiend, and sees Bob attempting yet again to kill the Simpsons but is arrested and put on trial.

His father - Mahoney - is called upon to testify while Hyde Pierce also appears, reprising his role as Bob's brother Cecil.

'Simpsons' Producer to Share 'Family Values' with Oshkosh

When TV's powers that be asked Bill Clinton to guest star on the long-running "Simpsons" series, the former-president's response wrote the joke.

"He said he'd love to be on 'The Simpsons,' but he'd never do something that'd bring disgrace to the office of the president," said Mike Reiss, producer/ writer for the 20-year series, with a laugh.

It's real-life testimonies and behind-the-scenes looks like this that Reiss has toured the world with for six years now. And Monday, the man behind the satirical cartoon speaks to crowds at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

D’Oh! The Top 10 ‘Simpsons’ Episodes Ever

We “Simpsons” fans are a nerdy, nerdy, contentious bunch. Getting us all to agree on the best episodes of what was, in its heyday, the smartest and funniest TV show ever broadcast is harder than getting Beatles fans to agree on the best Fab Four album, Woody Allen aficionados to see eye to eye on the Woodman’s best film, or Kurt Vonnegut lovers to concur on the author’s best novel. (“Revolver,” “Love and Death” and “Cat’s Cradle,” respectively.) It simply can’t be done.

So of course picking a definitive list of the top 10 “Simpsons” episodes will elicit howls of outrage from dissenting fellow fans — “Worst. List. Ever.” — and of course they’ll all be on the Internet within minutes, registering their disgust throughout the world. No matter. In the immortal words of Homer Simpson, “If you agree, signify by getting indignant.”

The Simpsons: Season 19 Premiere

The Simpsons has earned all kinds of accolades over the past 18 years. But lately the longest-running American sitcom may as well be stamped with the Krusty Brand Seal of Approval.

While writer turnover is as inevitable as creative burnout when a show spans nearly two decades, The Simpsons‘ decline was at first gradual and excusable, then sudden and difficult to watch. Were the new scripters even fans? Homer became an angry ass instead of a cranky buffoon. And classic jokes were shamelessly repeated, as if the creators didn’t realize that many viewers know past episodes by heart.

Then the series got a big-screen jolt. This summer’s The Simpsons Movie may not have matched the show’s best moments, but it was a pretty impressive try. Sharply drawn both literally and figuratively, the film offered satire and a Simpsons-save-the-day story arc that was saturated with old-fashioned sight gags and witty one-liners. True, series creator Matt Groening and executive producer James L. Brooks had to bring in old blood to pull it off. But the success of the project likely kept a number of the disheartened from giving up on the show for good.
